Description
Durham Games is comprised of developers from Ubisoft, EA, Gearbox, Gamebryo, Ndemic Creations, and many others.

We are in the process of developing and preparing to launch our first original IP game: Foodie Trucks

Game
Foodie Trucks is a game about creating your own food truck, food that you want to sell, and achieving phenomenal success. It has the accessibility of core game play using color matching and reaction time game mechanics combined with the complexity and depth of a resource management, RPG-style game.  This engrossing combination allows a player to quickly get into play, but the surprising depth allows for investment and exploration of their personal game play style.

Players are on a journey to be the best food truck in a city, traveling through neighborhoods with increasingly discerning palates. Winning over each neighborhood requires speed, strategy, and creativity! It is easy to start playing immediately and just begin selling food. As players progress, they will increase in skill as a chef and learn that each choice made may affect how their truck is perceived by the people (“foodies”) of the city. Players gain access to new and more powerful cookware, truck accessories, and ingredients along the way.

Effective strategy must be used to find flavor combinations that work best to win over each neighborhood in the city. Neighborhoods have tastes that may change with time and players must change their strategies to achieve the highest reviews and profits. Finding the best, most powerful ingredients and how to use them is part of mastering the creation of food that the city will love!

Increased mastery of ingredients unlocks complex and powerful combos that can send a hungry crowd into a frenzy. Quick reflexes and careful planning make for colossal rewards of fame and fortune.

On the road to food truck domination, players can customize their food truck, food menu, and avatar to show off personal tastes. If a player decides they want a pink, pirate-themed food truck with an octopus riding on top so they can sell avocado wasabi ice cream, they can do it! All these choices affect how the player may attract hungry people from different neighborhoods, for better or worse.

Finding the best combination of ingredients, creating appealing food, and gearing up the food truck to draw in the crowds at the right time and place is a deep challenge. Total mastery can be achieved through work, but the fun is easy to find!
